Express Visits

Express Visits for Browsing + Computer Use

Beginning Monday, August 24th, we will offer limited in-building hours and services. Visits are by appointment only and are limited to 45 minutes for no more than 5 people at one time.

You can browse the collection, pick up your holds, register for or update your library card, use the library’s computers and copy/print/scan materials.
Curbside pickup will still be available during the library’s open hours. Please continue to use the outdoor book drops for returns.

How Express Visits Work:

  • Call the library to schedule your appointment and let us know if you’ll be browsing or using a computer.
    • Family groups coming together must register each person for the appointment. Kids count, too! Only 5 people will be allowed in the library for each time slot.
    • We can accommodate one appointment per person, per day.
    • Appointments are limited to 45 minutes; you can arrive at any time during your 45-minute window, but your time cannot be extended.
  • When you arrive for your appointment, knock on the front door to let us know you’re here.
    • Have your mask in place and be ready to sanitize your hands.
  • The library will close during the last 15 minutes of each hour for cleaning and disinfecting.

For Your Safety and Ours:

To protect library users and staff, we’ve created some guidelines that will allow us to welcome patrons into the building while prioritizing everyone’s safety and mitigating the chance of spreading coronavirus in our community:

  • While in the library, all staff and visitors must wear masks and practice social distancing.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available at the library entrance and throughout the building.
  • Yellow tape has been placed on the floor to indicate appropriate distances for using the library. Our building is very small and crowded; please be courteous to others by giving them space.
  • The second floor is not be open to the public.
  • We cannot accommodate visits for the purpose of studying, meeting or leisure reading at this time. We want you to get everything you need while you’re in the library, but please keep your visit short and sweet!
