Board of Trustees
The library board is composed of community members who volunteer their time and skills to ensure the future of the library. The main functions of the board are to set library policies, maintain the financial health of the library and uphold the library’s mission.
To enable the board to work effectively and efficiently, standing and ad-hoc committees are appointed to focus on specific functions or projects. These committees and their members are listed here.
Board meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM. The annual meeting is held the last Thursday in January, followed by the January regular meeting. The public is welcome to attend library board meetings and contribute during the designated public comment periods. Please check the event calendar or call the library to confirm meeting dates. Library Board Meeting Minutes are taken at each meeting and approved at the following month’s meeting before being posted. Hardcopies of the approved meeting minutes are also available for the public to review in the Library.
