Explore Summer is an initiative that inspires our community to learn, read and explore all summer long. All summer long, we’re hosting programs for ALL ages including story times, book clubs for all ages, LEGO & STEAM activities, lectures and much more!

Explore Summer Kick-off Party
Saturday, June 24th from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Drop by the library’s back yard to celebrate the start of Explore Summer! Register for summer reading, tie dye a tote bag for your books, and get a taste for some of our programs throughout the summer.
All ages are welcome.
WAYS TO PARTICIPATE
Toddlers to 2nd Grade
Complete activities throughout the summer at home and at the library. This year we’re moving away from our traditional Library Loot program and instead, fully embracing experience-based incentives. When kids finish the activities in their booklets, they’ll get a special invitation to attend one of our Explore Summer Celebrations at the end of August.
3rd to 6th Grade
Complete activities throughout the summer at home and at the library. Every activity you complete gives you a chance to win a local gift card. When kids finish the activities in their booklets, they’ll get a special invitation to attend one of our Explore Summer Celebrations at the end of August.
7th thru Adult
Read, Read, Read! Stop by the library to receive a Explore Summer book mark. Bring your completed book mark back to the library and receive a ticket for each book you read. Each ticket is an entry for our end of summer raffle prizes!
