We get babies, toddlers and preschoolers ready to read through play in a fun, supportive environment. Parents and caregivers will discover how to model and support early literacy/learning activities and skills at home.

What To Expect During Story Time
Masks: Masks are suggested for everyone age 2+. Our building is poorly ventilated, and masks are one of the few things we can do to keep our most vulnerable patrons safe. Adult and child-sized masks are available for anyone who needs them.
Social distancing: Limiting the number of people at story time means that we’ll all have plenty of space around us. Realistically, we know that some children will still wander, and that’s ok! We’ve planned for lots of elbow room.
Cleaning: We use egg shakers, bells and scarves during story time. These items are cleaned with soap and warm water between uses. Hand sanitizer is also available in our story time room and throughout the library.
