Academy Award-winner Helen Mirren plays Queen Elizabeth II in this Tony Award-winning production. For 60 years Queen Elizabeth has met with each of her 12 prime ministers in a private weekly meeting known as “the audience.” No one knows what they discuss – not even their spouses. Through these private audiences, we see glimpses of the woman behind the crown and witness the moments that shaped a monarch.

National Theatre Live productions are recordings of plays from London’s West End theatres. The film will be shown in Library Hall.

Library Hall is only accessible by stair; there is no elevator access.
