Family Book Club
Sunday, February 2nd at 2:30 PM
This month’s book is Mr. Popper’s Penguins by Richard and Florence Atwater. Family Book Club is for families with a child in 1st or 2nd grade. It encourages family read aloud time at home and then brings everyone together at the library for a fun activity. No registration.

After School at the Library
Mondays, February 3rd, 10th and 24th from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM
Drop-in after school to play chess, make a craft or play Minecraft Education Edition on our laptops. For ages 8 to 12. No registration.

American Sign Language for Kids: Food
Thursdays, February 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th at 4:00 PM
This four-week class will help kids get excited about learning ASL as we focus on food. Through games and simple interactions, they’ll start learning a whole new language! For ages 8 to 12. Registration required.

Cookbook Club: South American Food
Monday, February 10th at 6:30 PM
This club meets once a month to share a potluck style meal. All you have to do is bring a prepared dish to share and the recipe that inspired you. Registration appreciated.

Skaneateles Library Board Meeting
Tuesday, February 11th at 6:30 PM
The Library Board is made up of community members who volunteer their time and skills to further the mission of the library. All meetings are open and the public is welcome to attend.

Guitar Concert: Austin Wahl

Austin Wahl is a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota. He began his study of the classical guitar at age five with Alan Johnston, a founding member of the Minneapolis Guitar Quartet. Subsequently, he earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees as well as a performer’s certificate at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY, where he is currently a doctoral student of Dr. Nicholas Goluses. STEAM Challenge: Downhill Skiing
