This month’s book is Her Right Foot by Dave Eggers. Family Book Club is for families with a child in 1st or 2nd grade. It encourages family read aloud time at home and then brings everyone together at the library for a fun activity. No registration.

Cookbook Club: Mardi Gras
Monday, March 2nd at 6:30 PM
This club meets once a month to share a potluck style meal. All you have to do is bring a prepared dish to share and the recipe that inspired you. Registration appreciated.

LEGObots: Ages 6 – 8

Skaneateles Library Board Meeting

Join us as we read Roberto the Insect Architect by Nina Laden and then build our own structures with LEGOs. For ages 5 – 7. No registration.

LEGO Building Contest Submission Drop-off
Monday, March 16th to Tuesday, March 24th
Build your own original LEGO creation at home (no bigger than 15”x15” square and 24” high). Name your creation and bring it to Skaneateles Library during our drop-off period. Creations will be displayed at the library and judged by local building and design professionals. Winners will be announced on Saturday, March 28th and prizes will be awarded in each of these groups: Grades 1 & under, Grades 2 & 3, and Grades 4 & 5. Teams are welcome and will be grouped by the grade of the oldest builder. Builders may enter only once, either as an individual or as part of a team.

Sustainable Eating Series: Documentary Screening
