Library Feedback Drive

Tell Us What You’d Like to See: The Library is Listening

Skaneateles Library serves every household in the Skaneateles Central School District, whether you’re a regular, an occasional visitor, or haven’t walked through our doors in years, we want to hear from you.

As part of our strategic planning work, this August the Library Board and staff are asking the community a simple question: what would make your library work better for you? Tell us how we can be more useful, accessible, welcoming, and relevant to you and your household.

Have 5 minutes? Every voice helps us build a library that truly belongs to the whole community.

The survey takes no more than 5 minutes to complete. Fill it out online <link>, pick up a printed copy at the library, or share your input in person at a listening session being held throughout the area this month.

Attend a Listening Session

Sessions will be held at locations throughout the community. Each is an informal, 90-minute drop-in event — come at any point during the scheduled time to complete a form, speak individually with a trustee, or ask a question.

How feedback will be used

Community feedback shapes how we understand what our community needs and values. We can’t respond to or act on every suggestion. Financial, spatial, regulatory, and other practical constraints mean some good ideas won’t be able to move forward, but as decisions are made, we’ll share what changed, what didn’t, and why.
