Cristina Pietropaoli
Cristina joined the Skaneateles Library Board in 2025.
Born in Portugal, Cristina brings a global perspective shaped by language, culture, and lifelong learning. She holds a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and began her professional career working with the Rochester City School District and the Syracuse City
School District. In 1997, she shifted her focus to stay home with her children while continuing to work part time at Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics. She currently serves as Operations Manager at Victory in Motion, Home of Knee Repair, NOT Knee
Replacement®.
A longtime resident of Skaneateles, Cristina has been deeply engaged in the community for many years. She has served on Parent-Teacher Committees at every level within the Skaneateles School District, including as President of the Middle School PTC, and was member of the School Intervention Teams at the MS & HS. Her additional community involvement includes the Skaneateles Music Guild, the Skaneateles Vincent House Guild, and serving as a board member of Holy Trinity Preschool.
Cristina is passionate about the Skaneateles Library as a welcoming space that fosters lifelong learning, curiosity, and connection. The library was a regular and meaningful part of her family’s life when her children were young, and she is excited to help ensure it continues to bring people together and remain a vibrant community resource—now and for future generations, including her grandchildren.
